Love and Loss

I talk to many guys each day who feel wounded and apprehensive after their latest break-up. They fear letting down their guard. Have anxiety about exposing their hearts. Wonder if they will ever again know love. 😔

Here is my wish for all of you:

❤️THAT YOU SEE YOURSELVES THE WAY EACH OF US SEE YOU❤️

As beautiful men of wisdom and strength. Power and passion. Poised and ready to build the life of your dreams. 🔥🔥🔥

It is through grief that our compassion deepens and our capacity to love grows, even when it feels scary as hell. In fact it can be an opportunity to humbly seek loving help, and experience the grace of friends and family.

If we allow ourselves to fully grieve and experience our feelings, we can transmute sadness and anger to empathy and understanding. Such that we might fully be able to pick ourselves up and re-enter the world. Made more fully whole. 😍

Sure, some scars last a lifetime. But they need not keep us from life. 🔥

I do not believe that everything happens for a reason (things happen for lots of reasons, many of which are largely outside our control).

But I do believe that we can use any experience to more fully deepen and grow our heart. For the betterment of ourselves and the world. That we might stand in wholehearted togetherness. Each of us broken just enough for the light to shine through. So we can learn to live and love again! 😍 😍 😍
