The fantasy of a homogeneously "straight" society is just an ode to the accumulation and preservation of power and wealth, as passed down from fathers to sons.
In that way the underbelly of queerphobia is patriarchy, ableism, and white supremacy.
They're just different verses of the same old tired song...
