There are currently far too few queer men of a certain age left to mentor and create cultural continuity for today's youth.
Each of us is so very precious and necessary, and can rest assured that there are legions in our army of lovers coming up behind us to fill our future ranks.
But in the meantime, we must get out there and start living and loving. Because no matter what they say, the world needs us. We are required.
