"Straightness" as a sexual orientation and culture is based on a lie, created by people in positions of power, in order to preserve bloodlines and patrimony.
The truth is people are complicated, and so are their sexual desires. Many who identify as straight feel attracted over the course of their lifetime to all sorts of genders. Some might suppress these desires, while others might savor, or even explore, them.
Human hearts are mysterious, deep, and complex. And the course of love never runs straight.
